With this technique, multiple components within the imaging frame can be recognized and categorical discrimination can be made for each type of components, such as the sky, mountains, greens, or flowers in the case of capturing landscapes, for example. Other than those, recognizable components include figures, seas, landscapes such as night and sunset scenes, characters, and foods. The fast processing with lighter load allows for instant recognition of images.
Being used in combination with the function of switching to the most appropriate capture mode, "PhotoScouter® Ver.2.0" can automatically set exposure factors such as aperture and shutter speed as well as white balance depending on the photo-scene. You are easily able to take images most appropriate to objects and scenes and, even if you may use a camera-equipped cell-phone, able to obtain clear images as if you used a digital compact camera.

"PhotoScouter® Ver1.0" provides a technique for fast detection of bar-codes (including QR codes and JAN codes) and business cards.
This technique allows for direct switching from the capture mode to the bar-code reading or business card reading function.
You need not to call the bar-code reading or business card reading function before taking photos as before.
