Morpho’s Scanning Technology Has Been Adopted by Sky’s Sales Support and Business Card Management Service “SKYPCE”: Improved Capturing with Smartphone

(hereinafter, “Morpho”), a global leader in image processing solutions and imaging AI solutions, announced today that its “Morpho Scanner™”, a rectangle object detection and extraction technology, and “Morpho Filter Engine™”, an image quality adjustment effect that improves visibility, have been adopted for the business card capture function on smartphones (Android application) for “SKYPCE”, a sales support and business card management service from Sky Co.,Ltd.

“SKYPCE” has various functions to streamline sales activities. One such feature is the ability to register business cards captured with a smartphone, which allows use even when you are out of the office or in an environment where a scanner is not available.

“Morpho Scanner” is image processing software that automatically detects the corners of business cards captured and corrects distorted perspective. Even in situations where business cards are captured at an angle or when images are difficult to see due to shadows, “Morpho Scanner” can accurately correct the viewing angle and generate scanned image.

Combined with the “Morpho Filter Engine”, which adjusts sharpness and contrast, the software improves the visibility of text and makes conversion of business card information into text data easier.
