(hereinafter, “Morpho”), a global leader in image processing solutions and imaging AI solutions, announced today that its AI-driven image recognition has been embedded in the 步步高家教机S5, the flagship model of the learning tablets for children distributed by the BBK Education Group (hereinafter, “BBKE”), a leading manufacturer of learning devices for children in China.
BBKE’s tablet, the 步步高家教机S5, has applications with contents for learning. It is a revolutionary learning terminal that provides visual or audio feedback to a user’s question through its image and text recognition technologies and AI voice recognition technology. All user needs to do is to attach a dedicated attachment to the tablet’s front camera, place a book or textbook in front of the camera and state a question while pointing to the problem in the book with his or her finger.
A new technology was developed by gathering all of Morpho’s AI-related technologies and utilizing highly versatile/applicable object detection technology with performance-boosting AI inference software, in order to meet the advanced needs of BBKE.
Morpho China, Inc., founded in 2018, lead the project to enable first Morpho product to be utilized at BBKE. Moreover, Morpho will continue to accelerate the overseas development of its AI-related technologies going forward.
