Morpho Surpasses 3 Billion Mark in Image Processing Software Licenses

Tokyo, Japan –September 17, 2019 – Morpho, Inc. (hereinafter, “Morpho”), a global leader in image processing solutions and imaging AI solutions, announced today that it has surpassed the 3 billion mark on providing their image processing software licenses, at the end of August 2019.


Morpho’s licenses for image processing technologies embedded in smartphones and mobile phones worldwide mainly include “PhotoSolid®”, which is one of its main products and a still image stabilization; “MovieSolid®”, a video image stabilization; “Morpho Panorama GP™”, a high-resolution panorama image generation technology; and “Morpho HDR™”, a high dynamic range correction based on image synthesizing.

This year, Morpho has announced image processing technology offering to SHARP’s latest smartphone AQUOS R3. Later, as part of alliance reinforcement strategy, partnership with mobile communication technology and semiconductor manufacturer Qualcomm was also announced. And just lately, technology offering was made to China’s top share vendor BBK Education for their educational tablet device.
